Finding Balance & Inner Peace of Mind

How The LifeLine Technique™ can empower you to find balance, peace and live with intention.

Are you living the life of your dreams? If not, what is it that’s holding you back?

Mental health experts call these “limiting beliefs.” They are the experiences of our past that keep us stuck in the rut. Limiting beliefs create the self-defeating inner dialogue that tell us “I’m not good enough,” or “I don’t deserve it.”

Fortunately, you can break out of that pattern. The secret to creating the life of your dreams is buried beneath the surface of your daily reality. By accessing the limiting beliefs buried within the subconscious mind, you can release them and free yourself to accomplish the goals you dream about.

To understand the subconscious, let’s briefly review the parts of the mind and how they get triggered by limiting beliefs. The conscious mind (what we are aware of) is perceived to be the driving force of life, but it actually only represents two to 10 percent of your awareness. The subconscious mind makes up the larger 90 to 98 percent.

The subconscious mind is both a filter and distiller of information, thoughts and feelings. It stores emotions, memories and beliefs. This part of the mind drives our fundamental reactions to everything we encounter. It exists to help us adapt and survive without having to consciously think about every little stressor in the way. In other words, it shields and protects you like a tour guide through an uncharted land. It absorbs the stressors, but they resurface as limiting beliefs that are triggered automatically from our environment.

What’s your secret code?

The first step to awakening to the secret code of your mind is realizing you would never consciously choose to have these unpleasant feelings or symptoms. If they are not coming from your conscious mind then where are they coming from? The reactive subconscious mind!

The LifeLine Technique is a holistic practice that helps you discover the root causes of stress, physical pain, anxiety and other limitations. The goal of LifeLine is to interpret and release the limiting beliefs and stresses of the past that have been locked in your subconscious. It’s a practice that helps you to find peace and balance
in your life, so that you can move forward toward your goals.

Developed by Darren Weissman, a internationally renowned doctor of chiropractic medicine, The LifeLine Technique (LLT), is a practice that integrates applied kinesiology, ancient healing arts of Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic medicine and modern day science. A form of energy medicine, LLT is a fusion of science and spirituality
that helps get you back to a place of balance between the mind, body and spirit.

Maribeth Morrissey, a certified LifeLine Practitioner based in Solon has clients that come to her for help with a wide range of health and emotional issues. She trained directly with Dr. Weissman and recently learned a simple practice called “The 1-2-3 of The LifeLine Technique” that he created to help individuals practice basic
LifeLine techniques on their own.

Based on the principals outlined in Dr. Weissman’s new book Awakening to the Secret Code of Your Mind, Morrissey is now teaching these basic steps to her clients in upcoming workshops.

“The focus is on the intention – of where you see yourself going – instead of what you are getting away from,” Morrissey said.

One particular client came to Morrissey after having been diagnosed with an eating disorder.

“I tried everything to stop on my own for years with very little success,” said Mary Satari. I was looking for relief and suffering from such high anxiety that everyday life was difficult.”

Something in an article of Morrissey’s in the Women’s Journal caught her eye. “The article mentioned getting to the root cause of symptoms, and I thought maybe this would help me find out what is triggering this disorder. After just five sessions with The LifeLine Technique, the urges are much less and I have had a decrease in behaviors and the longest stretch of time without being triggered. My awareness has increased and I feel so much better.”

In addition to LifeLine sessions, Morrissey connected Satari to a local support group that specializes in holistic recovery for addictions. The combination has proved invaluable to her.
